If it cannot be repaired, we did not make it.

A living room in warm afternoon light.
A bouclé lounge chair on a plain ground.
A dining setting photographed from the side.

Joinery you can see, and undo.

Frames are mortise and tenon, drawer boxes are dovetailed, and nothing structural is held together with glue alone. Every joint can be taken apart by someone who is not us, in twenty years, without breaking the piece.

Finishes are hardwax oil rather than lacquer. It marks more easily, and it can be repaired in place with a cloth — which is the trade we would make every time.

From the people who live with it

Nine weeks felt long until it arrived. The grain runs through the drawer fronts in one piece, which is not something I have seen at twice the price.

Delivery and care

Eight weeks, usually

Made-to-order pieces are cut when you order them. We give a date at checkout and we hold to it, or we tell you early.

Two people, into the room

Delivery is a two-person service to the room of your choice, packaging taken away. No kerbside drops.

Oiled, not lacquered

A hardwax finish marks and can be mended with a cloth and an hour. We send a care kit with every timber piece.

Repaired for life

Send anything back and we will fix it. Joints, finishes, upholstery. The workshop keeps your drawings.
