Before you buy
- Can I use Noren for client work?
- Yes. One purchase covers unlimited personal and client projects, including sites you charge for. The only thing you cannot do is resell or redistribute the template itself, as a template.
- Does it use Tailwind?
- No, and that is deliberate. Noren is CSS Modules with a role-based token system — there is no utility-class soup to read and no Tailwind config to fight. If your team standardises on Tailwind, this is the wrong template and it is better that you know now.
- Is the checkout real, or a mock-up?
- Real. There is a multi-step checkout with a URL-synced state machine, and Stripe Checkout behind an environment flag with a signature-verified webhook and server-recomputed totals. With no Stripe key set it runs a clearly-labelled demo flow that takes no money, which is what the public preview does.
- What do updates and support look like?
- Lifetime updates, no subscription. Support is email, from the person who wrote the code — there is no support team, and pretending otherwise would be a lie you would discover on your first ticket.
- Do I need a CMS or a backend to run it?
- No. Products and copy are JSON in the repo, and the whole site prerenders to 421 static pages you can host anywhere. Stripe is the only optional service, and it is off until you add a key.
